Teacher Appreciation Printable

With teacher appreciation week just around the corner I thought it was time to get a little something, something in order. Back in my teaching days I adored this week of thanks. I loved getting letters from students thanking me, a luncheon from the PTA, and a thoughtful gift here or there.

The husband and I worked hard (and long) on this printable. I think it kind of broke the husband’s heart to just give it away for free, but these are my people!

This print was inspired by chalkboard art. Seeing as though it is for a teacher, it seemed fitting.

As always, this printable fits in an 8×10 opening. It would look superb matted and framed with a bow and a delightful little thank you card.

Hi, I'm Megan--the crazy mom of three behind this blog. Please don't be intimidated by the name. Note it doesn't say BALANCED Home. We hardly have it all together, but together we have it all. Or at least that is what I tell myself. I love rearranging, decorating, creating, crafting, celebrations, family, and holidays. I share a little bit of all of that and more on Balancing Home. I am married to my college sweetheart (Is that a thing? Well now it is.) and he is a very talented designer. I use him for his skills so I can offer up sweet printables to all of you. If you want to learn more randomness about me or my blog, stop by my about page.

I love this, Megan!  Pinned as a gift idea — any teacher would be thrilled to get this.  I’m thinking for my kids’ Sunday School leaders…  have a good weekend, friend!

This is beautiful! My husband is a teacher and he never gets cool stuff like this. I told him he needs to start dropping hints to his students and see if he can get some chocolates out of them or something. ;)

    Hello Megan,

I have been searching the web for a special teacher appreciation gift, and when I saw your printable I knew it was better than anything I imagined.  My son is in PreK 4 and we were blessed with a wonderful teacher .. more than a teacher to him.  I would like to pass along your gift to his teacher.. in the spirit of one teacher to the next and one mom to a very much appreciated teacher.  I am new at working with printables.  Can you suggest what I should print this on?  I intend to have this matted and framed.

I will be a fan of your etsy store now!

    Thank you,
    Joanne

There is a colored background, so I would suggest taking it somewhere (Kinkos, Office Depot, Office Max) and having it printed there. They will have a variety of paper for you to sample. Best of luck!

I used this printable for my son’s end of school year gift for his 1st Grade teacher last year. It turns out so ‘classy’, a simple, beautiful print that means a lot to the giver. Thank you for sharing it for free- the gift-giving for teachers can get expensive!

Hi, I’d love to use your teacher printable (takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart) for my 2 daughters’ teachers. It’s the perfect thought!!
