Mod Podge Key Chain Tutorial

Mod Podge Rocks Book Review by Amy Anderson

Mod Podge week continues and today I am showing you how to make the EASIEST key chain ever. I swear. Using the Mod Podge podgeables, rub-on-transfers and some glow in the dark Mod Podge I rocked a key chain perfect for dad. I know Father’s day has come and gone, but these key chains are easy peasy and you can customize yours with your own word choice. I have to say this would be a fun little kids activity. I can see this being a hit at a tween sleepover. No?

All you do is pick your words, lay them over your podgeable, rub and peel off.

When I finished with the rub-on-transfers I coated the podgeable with some glow in the dark Mod Podge. That will prevent the letters from peeling off and give the key chain a little something something.

And right into Dad’s grateful hands!

The Mod Podge goodies used in this post were sent to be by Plaid. All opinions and ideas are my own (of course). The podgeables, glow in the dark Mod Podge, and rub-on-transfers are all made by Mod Podge and can be found at Micheal’s.

Hi, I'm Megan--the crazy mom of three behind this blog. Please don't be intimidated by the name. Note it doesn't say BALANCED Home. We hardly have it all together, but together we have it all. Or at least that is what I tell myself. I love rearranging, decorating, creating, crafting, celebrations, family, and holidays. I share a little bit of all of that and more on Balancing Home. I am married to my college sweetheart (Is that a thing? Well now it is.) and he is a very talented designer. I use him for his skills so I can offer up sweet printables to all of you. Right!? Very exciting stuff. I cannot believe all the Mod Podge formulas that exist that I never knew about :)

Love this idea. Where do you get the rub on transfers?

I should have been more clear. I think I am going to go back and edit the post for everyone else. Mod Podge makes the rub-on-transfers. It is one of their new products. You can find them at Micheal’s. At my Micheal’s the new products were kind of end cap displays and not located where I would have though to look for them. Goodluck!

What a great idea. The glow in the dark might make the keys easier to find, too.
