Can I get an Amen? This past Saturday I left the kiddos with Ross and went to Target. I didn’t even feel bad, since Ross had been on a business trip for SIX days! Yes, six days. Momma needed Target and makeup and ME time.
Did you know I am a makeup junkie. I am sucker for packaging too. Sometimes I feel the overwhelming urge to buy something, just because it looks cute. Anyone else?
It probably comes as no surprise that when they were looking for bloggers to try out e.l.f. (eyes lips face) I was right on board. I have heard lots of great things about e.l.f., but had never tried any of their products before. I guess a part of me just didn’t believe something that cheap could really be good. It is.
Even on lazy, sweatpants kind of days I put my “face” on. Tinted moisturizer, mascara and a tinted lip gloss/balm everyday. It takes like two minutes and makes a world of difference. Not to mention, the built in sunscreen keeps me looking youthful.
Aside from the incredible prices and clean packaging, a couple other things stand out to me right away. I love that this tinted moisturizer has SPF 20 and is enhanced with aloe, cucumbers and vitamins A, C & E.
I also love the description at the bottom. When you are shopping for cosmetics at Target or a drugstore and you cannot try stuff on, it is nice to have such a clear guide. Anyone else think that is pretty helpful?
I also loved the flexibility e.l.f. offers. You can create your own eye shadow palette. How cool is that?
Check out those prices! I ended up with all of these goodies.
And a Dr. Grip pen, and scarf that was on clearance, and…. Yeah, that is how Target goes. You go in for one thing and come out with a million other things. You know it happens to you too.
The million dollar question: How does that stuff work? Well swell folks, it works swell, and this is what it looks like.
I snapped that photo with my iPhone. I am rocking the tinted moisturizer, tinted lip balm, blush, under eye concealer & highlighter all from e.l.f.
I have to admit, as much fun as it was to shop e.l.f. at Target, their website is kinda where it is at. It is full of so many more products and tons of tips. Definitely worth checking it out.
You can learn more about my #eyeslipsface shopping trip by checking out my Google+ album here. You can visit e.l.f.’s website here and find them on Twitter and Facebook.
Anyone else try e.l.f before? What did you think? What is your beauty regimen?
